EducationUSA

EducationUSA is a U.S. Department of State network of over 425 international student advising centers in more than 175 countries. The network promotes U.S. higher education to students around the world by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about opportunities to study at accredited postsecondary institutions in the United States. 


Maryland Higher Education Commission

The Maryland Higher Education Commission (MHEC) coordinates the growth and development of postsecondary education in Maryland and establishes statewide policies for public and private colleges, universities, and private career schools. MHEC reviews and approves the start-up and continuation of new colleges and universities in Maryland as well as requests for new academic programs at established schools. Additionally, MHEC serves as the administrator for state financial aid programs.

US Commercial Service

The U.S. Commercial Service is the trade promotion arm of the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration. The US Commercial Service is a founding partner of MIEC and Study Maryland.

American International Recruitment Council

The American International Recruitment Council (AIRC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit membership association recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission as a Standards Development Organization (SDO). AIRC was founded in 2008 by senior U.S. education leaders to safeguard the interests of both international students and enrolling institutions through the promotion of ethical, standards-based international recruitment strategies. AIRC’s members work together to establish quality standards for international student placement in the United States.

Baltimore Sister Cities, Inc.

Baltimore Sister Cities, Inc. ('BSC') is a non-profit, volunteer organization that aims to promote mutual economic development, educational, cultural, health/environmental and other cooperation and exchanges between Baltimore, Maryland and its international sister cities. BSC activities are designed to benefit the City of Baltimore, its residents and the business community by supporting the Mayoral Initiatives of the City of Baltimore and the goals of the Sister Cities International organization. At present BSC has relationships with cities in China, Egypt, Greece, Japan. Liberia, the Netherlands and South Korea.

Global Experiences

Global Experiences was founded in 2001 and is solely dedicated to internship programming with international internship placements lasting between 8 and 15 weeks in nearly every career field imaginable. Along with a full-time internship, interns are provided with furnished accommodation, cultural events and day trips, professional networking events, and on-site support in 11 global cities.

Offering more than 100 programs in 19 countries, IFSA is committed to providing all students equal access to the opportunities and benefits of a study abroad experience. IFSA draws upon theory and evidence-based practice to create a variety of program models and flexible academic options in alignment with the needs of partners and students.
